Field Guide to Cookies - My Book

Cover

Field Guide to Cookies is my first book, and I'm so excited to share all I know about cookies with you! Containing 100 entries on cookies around the world, from chocolate chip cookies to alfajores to gingerbread to fortune cookies, you'll be amazed at the variety of delicious treats.

Each entry has a description and history of the cookie, along with a recipe, baking tips, and serving suggestions. Helpful sections on ingredients, tools, and techniques will also help ensure your cookies come out perfect every time. And, there is a photo of each cookie, so you'll be able identify them both in the kitchen and out, just like any good field guide!

Field Guide to Cookies is published by Quirk Books. You can purchase it from Quirk Books, Chronicle Books, Barnes and Noble, Borders, or Amazon. Please also look for it at independent booksellers near you - if they don't have it, let them know!

I got your book, but making the Nazareth sugar cookies, I found the directions to instruct me to beat in eggs, even though they were not listed in the ingredients. I guessed two.

I made several cookies from your book, Anita. Never had the chance to blog about them though. Will change that soon. :)

hey there!
a friend of mine bought me your book for xmas last year and i've been baking from it pretty regularly ever since. i think the biggest hit was the orange delight cookies- my boyfriend requested them, but everybody went mad for them.
i blog about them pretty regularly if you want to check it out.
thank you so much for such a comprehensive cookie listing!

I love your cookbook! I've made quite a few of the recipes and have loved each and every one of them! The granola bars were a big hit. I can't wait to keep baking your recipes! I've also been blogging about the recipes on my blog. Keep on baking!

Oh my God!
¿Did you write this book?
